I am a 24 year old college student studying Early Childhood Education. I have over ten years babysitting experience. I also have about five years experience as a nanny. I also am a licensed lifeguard with certifications in CPR, First Aid, and water rescue. In the summertime, my favorite thing to do is take children swimming. Over the years I have babysat for families with varying numbers of children of all ages. I am comfortable working with infants, toddlers, and school aged children. I have experience babysitting children with special needs, mostly autism, dyslexia, ADHD, asthma, and diabetes. While watching children, my first goal is to make sure they feel comfortable with me. I think it's very important for children to be able to express themselves freely. I want them to be able to do things they enjoy doing but it's also my goal to introduce them to new activities especially ones that engage them creatively and on an intellectual level. I'm very hands-on and devote all of my energy in to giving children the attention they need. I love to play outside, make up games, do arts and crafts, and play learning games.
