Hello! I have watched children as young as three months up to twelve years and watched as many as four children at a time. My main experience in the past year has been watching my two nieces, 2 and 4, while working full-time in an administrative position. Before that, I was in grad school. I am now looking to babysit while growing an online business, so my schedule is extremely open and flexible. As for how I am with children, I like to treat them as individuals, meaning unlike some adults I really listen to them and cater my sitting to their needs. I like to let children think up activities they like so we have a structure and move from one activity to the next, such as hide-and-seek, playing outside if appropriate, playing "cleanup" if the parents like that game, doing puzzles, coloring, and having story time of course. Read more I love to explain and instruct, so helping with homework is no problem. I am also comfortable driving children to lessons, practices, or events as needed. I am extremely comfortable with any type of pet you might have in the home. In particular, I love big dogs. My goal is for your child/children to have fun, feel safe, and be comfortable while their parents are gone. Whatever the schedule or preferences, I'm happy to be flexible with what the parents need.
