I am a retired language (French, English and Russian) teacher with almost 50 years of teaching experience. Primarily,I am a 7th to 12th grade tutor but I have also taught kindergarten and 5th grade French. I have taught 7-12 grade English and tutored in math and reading 7-12 as well as foreign languages. I love to teach. When I was a child I often played school with my friends but instead of play, we really worked on reading, language and math. I don't remember a time when I didn't want to teach or learn. My Father was a college professor and my Mother was a librarian so you might say I was born to be a teacher. It is wonderful to help someone learn and I enjoy learning. I would like to tutor any age person. I can tutor in reading, math, social studies or French or Russian. I firmly Read more believe that everyone can learn to the best of his/her ability. I charge $25-$40 an hour and prefer to teach within 12 miles from my home (Hickory Valley). I do not drive at night but am free any daytime hours.
