Hello there! Let me begin with my past experience ranging over a scope of 30+ years. I have taken care of children of all ages from newborn to teenagers. While I have cared for children of all ages, I have primarily spent my time raising children in the early years, specifically the first year of life; focusing on infant care. I have experience being a nanny to multiples (twins and triplets) and to children with special needs, mainly those high functioning on the Autism spectrum. I also have experience with children who have physical difficulties. On a daily basis I work with children on their milestones, on fine and gross motor skills. I also (with your permission) begin teaching basic sign language at age 6 months. It allows the young children to communicate before they are verbal and for young children to have manners. I can do so for your children as well preparing them for preschool or as an alternative. I am CPR certified. I have used "The finger swoop" to possibly save the lives of 5 choking babies and have been dubbed "The Baby Whisperer" for my ability to calm and place to sleep fussy/teething babies when parents and grandparents could not do so. I am very good at what I do and I love loving on and teaching children! I am a very creative person. I am very into the arts. I love theatre, dramatic arts, music, ballet, opera, symphonies, and a wide array of music genres. I write songs (words and music), I love arts and crafts. I am a writer. I love board games and cards. I love walks and amusement parks. I love to travel. I love to read and teach. I am a Phillies fan and am newly learning the ins and outs of baseball. I have had the privilege of auditioning in New York for America's Got Talent and have spent 6 months on an off-Broadway stage on 44th street singing. Above all, I am a very nurturing and loving person. I love hugging and cuddling with the kiddos and showing them love and respect. Loving and caring for others comes very naturally to me and is one of the main reasons I chose to be a nanny. I am first and foremost a nanny and focused on the child(ren). That being said I am not opposed to additional responsibilities. I cook and bake very well and can teach older children these skills.
