I recently graduated from the University of Tennessee with a degree in English, starting grad school next year. I come from a huge family (seven siblings) and I am the oldest sister. I helped raise all of my brothers and sisters. I began babysitting outside of my family in high school for various family friends and my parent's coworkers. The first family I worked for in a nanny capacity had two children (boy and girl) and I worked for them for about a year. The second family had two girls and I worked for them as a nanny for two consecutive summers. Once I started college I continued to babysit and work with children (boys and girl's club, etc.), but did not nanny while being a full-time student. I love children and connect with them very well. I would not call myself a disciplinarian, but I am very firm when Read more necessary. I love being active with the children that I care for - whether that is going to the park, going on walks, or swimming. I was certified in CPR and as a Lifegaurd, however both certifications expired this year and I am planning on renewing them as soon as I am able. I have dependable transportation and have never gotten a ticket or been in an accident.
