My name is Amy Schween. I am the mother of two wonderful boys. John Dalton who is my 8 years old and River who is 5 year old. I graduated from College in 1997 and began a career in the corporate world where I have pretty much been working for the past 16 years. A year ago, I went through a divorce. I quickly realized I could not travel anymore with my job because I needed to be home with my children. I wanted to do something i truly enjoyed and was passionate about which is children and education. I have am raising two boys as a single mom. Their father has them every other weekend. While I don't have the experience as a nanny, I am confident being a mom myself equips with me with the knowledge, insight, love and compassion, full time- hands on responsibility of raising children. Read more I'm 44 years old with a lot of life experience. I'm wanting to be a nanny because I'm in a season of life right now where doing something I love is the most important thing to me. After much soul searching, I decided I would seek full time nanny opportunities. I am compassionate, dedicated, responsible, fun loving woman who can bring so much to the table and be a true asset to the family in which I will work for. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, running, hiking, being on the lake, and I'm actively involved in my church Fellowship Bible Church in Brentwood, TN. My son John Dalton attends Lockland Design Center in East Nashville and my 5 year son River attends Glen Leven Presbyterian Pre- School in the Forest Hills area.
