I recently moved to Lookout Mountain, TN from Charlotte, NC this month. My husband’s job is what brought us here, he is a project manager working for a large site in Bridgeport. I graduated from College of Charleston in 2013 with a Bachelor s degree in Biology. I also began a degree in secondary education however, just shy of school placement I was offered a job at the United States Department of Agriculture and did not complete my second degree. Since graduation I have worked in three different labs with USDA, Sequenom and Clemson University working with agriculture genetics, pathology and molecular science. During these jobs I also held a side job cleaning houses for about 10 families. Lastly, I also worked with the events team at Topgolf in Charlotte where I was an event ambassador, event lead, shift lead and bayhost. I was asked to apply for an event Read more management or marketing manager assistant position however, I knew I was relocating soon. Although, my field of study is in Biology I feel as though I have been successful in any area of work I tend to pick up. My most proud position held was the Director of Best Buddies. This was an unpaid position I was passionate about doing in my spare time. Best Buddies, a non-profit that paired college students with people with disabilities to develop friendships. Through this program I not only cared for 50+ buddies during events but, I developed close friendships with buddies and cared for them when their parents needed assistance. In my personal life I love to hike, watersports, attend sporting events, spend time with my husband and dog and visit my family when I can. As a nanny I would love to care for your child by sharing my love for children, assisting in their developmental needs through education and their inner child needs through outdoor adventure.
