First, of all I'm a mother to a terrific 17 year old, and a step-grandmother. I am married and also a Christian with a strong faith in God. Step-grandmother. I have a sunny disposition and am gifted in being an encourager to others. Those who know me best would say I go the extra mile to come alongside in making their day brighter. I love to encourage others. I take proper care of myself and value the needs of others. I am personable, honest, dependable, respectful and neat. I will be on time and expect to be released on time as per the schedule given. However, I am willing to be flexible with adequate notice. Although, I am not a certified Nanny I have adequate experiences to draw from. I've volunteered for the M.O.P.S. (Mothers of Pre-schoolers) two years in charge of walkers in the nursery area. I worked 4 Read more plus years teaching character education as the Safe and Drug-Free Schools coordinator for grade K-8. Homeschooled my son 2 years. Substitute teacher experienced allowing me to work along side students in special education. This is was a great experience and I found my gifts of encouragement and teaching served the students and staff. I hope it made their day brighter. In younger years I've taken are of up to 3 children in their home while their mother attended college. Babysit during my teen years. I was just 10 when my parents become grandparents. Now I have many nieces and nephews that like to hang out with me now. My son's friends love to hang out at our house. I'm a cool mom, but expects rules and boundaries to be followed. Last summer we moved back to TN to be close to my parents. They just celebrated their 65th Anniversary. We wanted to encourage them and spend time with them and be closer just in case they need us. They still live on the family farm. Instead they encourage us most. If I'm hired to serve your families needs, I'm committed to do so with utmost care and sincere consideration.
