Hi I'm Danielle. I have experience with several years of babysitting and being a nanny. I have twin girls who are 10 and in school. I have worked with kids in most of my jobs. I have previously been a preschool teacher, nanny and have 11 years experience as a Speech Language Therapist in the school district from preschool to 5 the grade. I have always enjoyed babysitting and especially enjoy playing with infants and toddlers. I believe in personal interaction, reading, talking and playing. I believe personal interaction vs electronics or screen time is better for young developing children. I read to my girls starting at 4 months old and they didn't watch TV shows or movies until they were 3 1/2. They did enjoy songs with short videos such as those on Sesame street. I drive into Knoxville each morning to drop my mom off at a Senior Read more day center. A part time position such as this would work well with my schedule.
