Hi There! I have lived in Collierville and the Memphis area for the past 12 years. My fiancé and I live in East Memphis with our 3 pets or our "fur children" I graduated from the University of Memphis in May 2014 with honors and a Bachelor's degree in Education. I have over 9 vast years of experience with kids ranging from in homes or school settings, to church/children programs and activities. I babysit throughout middle & high school as well as in college for a several families ranging from 1-5 children, ages 5 months to 12 years, boys and girls. Some of these families I have cared for up to 6 years. My undergrad degree provided me with 4 years of close and meaningful experiences with kids k-8th with needs and abilities of all kinds. In college, I worked at Christ the King Lutheran Elementary as the after-school care Read more teacher, Early Childhood Assistant teacher & the Summer Camp 2nd and 3rd grade Lead teacher for 3 years. I also was the Children's Ministry intern at Emmanuel United Methodist Church. My experiences and love for kids make up my babysitter/nanny style! I know many ways to engage children within an environment with structure and routines. With the kids, I love making arts and crafts, playing games inside and outside, going on walks, parks, swimming, sidewalk chalk, dancing, sports, reading books, legos, and just about anything their imaginations can think up. As a guest in the house, I always make sure that things are tidy and cleaned up. I'm comfortable with some lighthouse keeping, driving, hw help, and cooking/meal prep.
