I'm new to the area, but not to care giving! I started babysitting my cousins when I was ten years old, and soon started babysitting neighbors and family friends babies. In high school, I began taking child care and development classes and I got a job working at the public pool teaching kids to swim. I taught children of all ages at the pool, working with infants and parents as well. I've worked with children with disabilities; specifically, Autism, and also Downs Syndrome. Senior year of high school, I became an assistant teacher and a floater at a local day care. Soon after starting there, I was placed in the infant room and just fell in love with being surrounded by babies! It was hectic at times with just me and four babies, but every time I felt overwhelmed, I was able to ask for help and receive advice and Read more techniques. So, it was an incredible learning experience! I worked there for over a year before I started care giving for two neighboring families children. One family had a four and six year old, and the other had a two year old and a three month old baby. I stayed with both families for the entire 2015 school year and summer. I looked after a six month old baby as well for six months, until I moved back home. I've moved to Bakersfield so I can be closer to family. I'm looking for a loving family, in need of a nanny for the rest of the year. I will always be respectful to you, your family, and your home. I am a hard worker, and a clean person. I would love to work for you! I will also be available to house sit, pet sit, babysit, or house keep!
