I love working with children, really it is something that I have done my whole life. I started off working at a residential summer camp in Nashville for five years and realized that working with children is my passion. Since then, I have taught in various schools and nannied for multiple families in Nashville. My favorite part of childcare is learning what excites each child and how they best enjoy themselves. I get a lot of energy from children and love watching them grow into their curiosities and sense of humor. I enjoy having fun with the children I am supervising but also make sure more duties are getting done as well. I am very easy to get along with and can multitask with ease. I know how to time manage really well and stay organized for the families I am working for. I enjoy adapting to each family’s needs Read more and learning where I can best fit in and help out with their schedule. I have a particular passion for multicultural engagement including language learning. I speak English and Spanish and love watching children engage in two different languages. I earned my TEFL (teaching english as a foreign language) certification in 2018 while teaching in Costa Rica. I’m very active and love to spend as much time outside as possible. I have a deep respect for the outdoors and find joy in using the nature around us to teach children life’s lessons. I have experience hiking, swimming, biking, fishing, skiing, playing sports, and traveling with children under my supervision. My biggest responsibility is to ensure that each child feels safe and encouraged to reach their full potential. I would love to work with your family and hope you consider me for the position.
