My name is Joshua Pendergrass and am currently studying Nutrition with a minor in Human Development at The University of Tennessee. Health and wellness has played a huge factor in my up raising since I was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes when I was seven years old which has led me to current studies. I've been apart of Children's Hospitals Camp Cure with diabetes since I was a camp goer right up to a camp counselor. This day camp involves swimming, arts and crafts, sports and recreational fun as well as educational games and activities for children to learn more about living with diabetes. Being the eldest of three I have always been the leading example helping wherever I can when needed from sitting, meals, sports, events, etc. You name it! Red Cross First Aid/CPR certified
