I have always enjoyed working with children. The first time I really realized I had a passion for working with children was in 7th and 8th grade when I took a class where I got to help a teacher in 1st and 2nd grade for two years. I loved that and ended up volunteering at my church to work in a 1 & 1/2- 2 year old class for four years. I also did some paid childcare at my church for a little bit. In high school I also had a class for two years where I worked in the preschool at the high school, I didn't just watch kids I had to create and implement lesson plans. I have currently been working at a after school program, some of my task are helping with homework, create lesson plans and run those programs, I have been there for a little Read more over a year.
