I have spent my entire 25 year career caring for children in a variety of settings. I was the director in a public child care center for over two years, I worked as an early interventionist for over three years. I was lucky enough to stay home with my 2 daughters (now 20 and 22) for 10 years, during which time I provided after school care in my home, and later ran a home day care in which I cared for 3 children (6 weeks-2 years.) From 2007 through 2013, I worked in the Pre-School Special Education Program for Greenville County Schools in South Carolina. I left that job to move to Tennessee due do the relocation of my husband's job. Shortly after moving, my younger daughter became ill, which prevented me from seeking employment in Tennessee.
