Hello! I am a mother of 4 children ages 15-11.They are my world! I love caring and providing for them,and helping them be the best they can be.I have been married for 7 years to my supportive husband .He is a police officer for Alvin Community College,We have lived in Alvin for a little over 7 years,and are Texas natives. I have been babysitting since I was 13 years old.I started off caring for my younger sister,then branched off to children of my relatives and neighbors through my teenage years.In my 20's after having my 2 oldest boys,I started caring for several friend's kids in my home.I would have up to 6 little ones in my home on any given day,from infants to toddlers. I absolutely loved it! Not long after that,I was forced out of my comfort zone by a few major life changes(divorce and financial burdens).So,I had to Read more find a better means of financial support by waitressing ,then eventually retail. After working for 7 years in retail,I decided it was not for me.My family needed me more,so I quit 4 years ago to stay home and take care of them.I have loved the time I have spent with them,but my kids are getting older and need me less and less.Most days I have a lot of time on my hands,and got to thinking that I should get back to doing what I love..CAREGIVING! I will soon start the process of getting my CPR and first aid training.I believe it is important for parents to know that their children will receive the best care possible in any situation that could arise. Daily activities may include: arts and crafts singing dress up helping with meal or snack prep games and puzzles Academic prep(brain food): reading writing learning about world culture and holidays animals manners and basic table etiquette shapes,colors,numbers,and alphabets (for younger kids) I know I don't have any recent babysitting references,but the last 15 years of mothering,and past experience have taught me so much.I am responsible,trustworthy,dependable,and nurturing.In fact,I have been asked by a long-time family friend,to watch over her home and 3 dogs for days at a time,on many occasions.I have built trusting relationships with family and friends who can speak to my character and demeanor. I hope to build a strong foundation with you by providing for your little ones,a fun,safe,comfortable experience while in my care. * Note:Every other Friday(after 12:30pm) I will not be available-as well as the following Saturday and Sunday.
