I am currently a live in nanny for four children, 1 girl age 2 and three boys ages 6,9 and 12. My main duties include helping with homework, any drop off/pickups needed, as well as playing and keeping them active. I also do light housework such as cleaning, and grocery shopping/running errands. I prepare breakfast and lunch, as well as occasionally cooking for the family (Twice a week on average). Previously I was a nanny for one girl age 3 at the time, for over a year as well as 4 children ages 4,5, and two 8 year old boy/girl twins for over a year. I have many years of previous experience in child care as well. For two years I was an After School Counselor at the West Chester Area YMCA. This included helping with homework, playing games and different sports, and arts and crafts. I worked with children Read more from the age of 5-13. In addition to being an after school counselor, I was also a Youth Sports Site Director. I was a Youth Sports Director for the following sports: Flag Football, Tee-Ball, Coach Pitch Baseball, Hockey, Indoor/Outdoor Soccer, and Basketball, as well as coaching Football, Tee-Ball and Baseball. I also coached T-ball, youth baseball, and youth football. During the summers, I was a Camp Counselor. As a Camp Counselor I engaged the children by playing various games, both indoors and outside, as well as an emphasis on reading. I was also an Assistant Camp Director for two summers. Here I conducted and participated in pre-camp training. I also assisted in lost camper drills, fire drills, and other safety needs in the emergency action plan.
