I am an energetic, passionate, and dedicated person who loves working with children and animals. I began working with children as a summer league swim coach in 2011. The swim team, which I have coached for 3 years now, focuses on having fun while learning the fundamentals of swimming and water safety. The team consists of almost 200 kids, ranging from 4 years old to 17 years old. Thus, I have experience working with children of all ages and I am also First Aid/CPR certified. I give private swim lessons to kids who need individual attention. I frequently babysit my swimmers and their siblings as I have built wonderful relationships within the community. In addition to working with children, I also love working with animals. While I have two mini schnauzers of my own, I pet sit for animals of all shapes and sizes - dogs, cats, chickens, lizards, turtles, Read more fish. I study psychology and art at Colgate University, but I am currently taking a semester off. I enjoy creative environments and I am constantly inspired by the curious nature of children. I make non-recognizable art using a breadth of mediums - digital collaging, painting, and printing on alternative materials. I am a committed vegan and I try to practice compassion in my everyday life with patience and mindfulness. My current address is Austin, Texas but I am moving to Seattle in the next month.
