I am awaiting admission into a graduate program for Speech-Language Pathology. While waiting, I would like to continue to work with kiddos since my future career will be revolving around developing children. I have a long history of caregiving by starting at the young age of 15 for my neighbors. Through high school, I babysat during the school year and nannied over the summers. Come college, I was a camp counselor over a summer for pre-teens and post college, I had experience in various classrooms as a pre-school teacher for 0-16months, 16-24months, and 2 year olds. While caregiving, my goal is to create a trusting and fun relationship with the child(ren) through shared-playtime and creative activities! I never plop children in front of the TV unless given parental permission. Although I am not currently certified, I have past experience with lifeguarding and CPR/firstaide.
