I currently study as a Professional Counseling graduate student with an emphasis on Community Counseling at Texas State University. My passion for counseling compels me daily to assist others on their paths to more fulfilling lives. By helping individuals discover their inner strengths and personal resources, I continue to be amazed by individual resilience. As a counselor in training, my strengths include a diligent work ethic, creativity, flexibility, team collaboration, and most importantly: compassion. These qualities contribute to a 4.0 grade point average; they illuminate my academic achievements. Additionally, my previous professional experience as Lead Direct Staff at the former Cedar Springs Austin Eating Disorder Treatment Center (aka: McCallum Place) supports my qualifications for this internship. I am also grateful for my time working with mothers and their children at Austin Recovery.
