Hello! I have been involved in child care for 10 years now. I have worked for several families as a live-out nanny for children whose ages range from newborn to 6-years-old. In addition to being a nanny; I previously worked at a Waldorf inspired day-care, typically tending to 6-7 children throughout the day. I was also a Counselor for several years at a well known YMCA Camp in West Texas for three years. During this time I was responsible for 8-12 children ages six to fourteen. I was in charge of the athletic portion of their day but accompanied them to arts & crafts, swimming, rock climbing and many other activities. It was a fantastic experience and I have learned so much from it especially: patience, multi-tasking and the importance of being a good role-model. I am currently obtaining my Bachelors in Medicine with the hopes of becoming a Labor Read more & Delivery Nurse and will begin a Midwifery apprenticeship program within the next two years!
