I believe the best things you can give a child are love, guidance, and an education. Being the person who is able to do that is such an amazing and rewarding feeling. I have worked as an English teacher in Beijing, China, after school counselor for the YMCA (kinder and first grade), Early Preschool Teacher (ages 2-3) and Primary Toddler Teacher (18 mo - 2) at a private schools. I loved the bond I formed with the families and I feel that being a nanny give that same bond and allow for the opportunity for more one on one attention while bringing in the ability for the children to travel and spend more time outside to learn and grow rather than being stuck in one classroom all day. Art is a hobby of mine and I love finding ways to bring it into learning experiences because I remember the joyful Read more feeling I had as a kid when doing it. In Beijing, I had a class of 42 students, the schools worked with groups anywhere from 8-32, and (I was lucky enough to work at facilities that allowed) so I have experience working with up to 4 children of different ages.
