I became a neighborhood babysitter around the age of 10 before getting my first job at a child care facility in a workout center at the age of 16. I then realized that being a teacher was my calling. While in college at Texas State University I began interning at the Texas State Child Development Center and shadowing the lead 4 year old Preschool teacher. After graduating with a degree in Family and Child Development in 2013 I began teaching at a Montessori and Reggio Emilia inspired preschool as a 1-2 year old guide. It is my passion to incorporate positive guidance as a part of being a nanny and a guide.
