I’ve been in Healthcare Management for the past eight years and I am excited to shift back into caregiving professionally. I do strongly believe that certain roles come to different people effortlessly and easily and for me that is being a caregiver. I am patient, have good decision making skills, high level of emotional intelligence and work beautifully in high pressure situations while maintaining calm. I naturally connect with people and if I don’t feel like I’m a good fit for your family’s needs I will honestly let you know. Ultimately I only feel fulfilled when I’m in service to the growth and development of other humans or caretaking of animals. In high school and college I was a caregiver for young children from newborns to 12 year olds. I also worked at a daycare facility and babysitting service facility. I volunteered with Barton House Alzheimer’s nursing home for several Read more years when I lived in Sugar Land, TX. I am currently a volunteer at the Austin Humane Society. I also teach yoga and meditation to adults and children with a specialization of children with mental health disorders namely anxiety and depression. I’m also an energy healer and have found that people, especially children feel very safe and comfortable with me while still being able to maintain the authority and responsibility placed on me by the parents I am working with. I am CPR certified.
