Hello there! My name is Rosa-Diva Cruz, I have been working in child care for about 14 years. I moved to Austin almost 4 years ago. A little bit of my history: I was a full-time daycare assistant at a family daycare in Boston for 10 years where the kids are from the ages of 2-3 months to 3 years and also did occasional babysitting for the children at the daycare when their parents needed me, I would see some of them and it was great to see the kids all grown! Before the pandemic hit, I was working full-time at a daycare/preschool called Pride and Joy School and I was in charge of the "baby house" where the kids were 2 months - 1 year. It was unfortunately shut down due to the pandemic and poor management. I have been nannying for different families and currently looking for another Read more family to help with their little one! I speak Spanish fluently and have taught some of the kids how to speak Spanish, I am CPR and first aid certified, and a non-smoker as well. I can say with confidence that this is a job that I enjoy and find incredibly rewarding, I love to read to them, and sing while allowing them to explore their individuality and interests at their own pace. I love learning from kids, seeing how each individual personality develops and helping them hit their milestones!
