In the past eight years, I've babysat regularly for twelve families, four of which found me through Sittercity, and the other eight contacted me because of great reviews from the first families. I can pick the kids from school, put them to bed, and do everything in between. My favorite things to do with children are drawing, reading, exploring nature, and taking older kids on fun outings to the pool, movie theatre, or trampoline park. The majority of my experience is with children 4 months through 9 years of age, but I can hang with older or slightly younger kids. I have watched up to 4 kids at a time, but prefer to only watch 1-3, so that I can offer each child individualized attention. I have a sister with Pallister-Killian Syndrome (a rare chromosomal abnormality), and because of this am skilled at interacting with children who have developmental disabilities. I met Emily through Sitter City. She has been helping me with my babysitting needs for about 9 months now. She's excellent! Emily is super patient and very kind. She is calm and calming to my children. When we come home from a night out our home is tidy, she does the dishes and cleans up. She's always in a good mood and my kids are always excited to see her! Emily is wonderful!
