A Little Bit About Me... Hi my name is Sandra, I've just turned 61, ugh, I'm 5'7 and weigh 134, I have blue eyes and light brown highlighted hair(another way of saying I covered some gray) ha ha!! I would describe my personality as outgoing, fun loving, friendly, strong willed at times and confident. I'm very active and enjoy life (don't let the age fool ya ). Running bleachers or the track is a daily routine for me and I work out 3 times a week. I love staying busy and I enjoy the out doors and taking long walks and watching football and in my spare time I enjoy writing short stories. I don't drink or smoke but I always love a good cup of coffee! I'm very responsible, honest, a hard worker, loving, extremely neat and gee , I'm just awesome!! To characterize my strengths would be, hard working, trustworthy, dependable and I know my business when it comes to taking care of babies. I have always loved taking care of babies, I did this for 13 years in my home and had 22 children go thru my house. I've kept newborns till they were 3-4 years old. I don't believe in sitting a child in front of a TV for entertainment, I love interacting with my babies and watching them learn, the expression in their little eyes speaks volumes. Rocking my babies is a must for me as well as the child, it's a special kind of closeness & bonding. I believe in reading time for children, every child should have a special time to be still & listen and be read to. I am certified in "Infant Care" and have my certification in CPR/AED & First Aid. One of the most important things to remember is we work as a team in the best interest of the child, so communication is always a must on both sides. I never lose my amazement with "God's Masterpiece" that we call our children. There's no better feeling than to know you've helped shape a little one's life and there's no comparison to all those hugs & kisses you get from them daily.
