Hi, I'm Cheryl, a mother/grandmother that knows and understands exactly what you are going thru. Its hard to find someone to fill in for you...a person to love, cherish, and protect our children in our absence. The cold sweat you have as you head out...  The necessity to work, but the pain of having to.  I may be able to help! I am an emptynest grandma, with a degree in Early Childhood Education and CPR certified. All I ever wanted to be was "mom", but economics would not allow it. I've raised 3 amazing young men, two Drs. and a musician. I couldn't be more proud, but none of them are even close to marriage, much less children! So, here I am! A 53 yrs young lady that would love to give you peace of mind as you head to work. No one can replace a parents love for their Read more child, but I am the next best thing. If allowed, I can ease your burden and give you peace of mind that all is good in your child world. They will be fine. Play is a child's work and there is so much to do, to discover, to learn about. I love the look of wonder a child has as he explores his surroundings and makes exciting discoveries about his world. The awe of sights, sounds, and feels are everywhere, but disturbingly, I see far too many children alone...off in their virtual realities. They're too busy playing with the newest game system to interact with the child next door. I believe in minimizing the battery and electric babysitters bombbarding our children. They need to get out and play with other children. Thats the first step in learning the skills necessary to being a viable adult. Without strong communication and interaction skills, how can our children survive, much less, excel in this competitive world we call home? I will, gladly, get them off the couch and outside. Children thrive outside...he grows stronger physically, and developes a solid foundation internally~both necessary to excel in their tomorrows.  I will, also, be glad to do light housekeeping and have been known to have dinner ready when the parent comes home!  To summarize, i remember how stressful it was trying to juggle multiple tasks...I'd barely get finished when it was time to get up and do it all again! Life was a crazy blur and, sadly, i was too tired to appreciate and enjoy my children when they were little. I'd be glad to help you avoid this pitfall so you will have time to make lasting memories with your children!
