Hello, my name is Bianka and I'm a college student currently attending Houston Community College majoring in psychology. At the moment, I am an employee at YMCA and work as an after-school counselor. Which entails, maintaining a clean and safe environment for the after-school program site as well as working to establish a positive relationship with not only the children, but the families and program participants. Some of my duties include; creating a welcoming and professional environment for the children, staff and families alike, preparing snacks and ensuring clean up within the facility, providing fun/educational activities for the children and building a good relationship with parents, children, and the school administration/teachers. I am currently in training for First Aid and CPR certification.
