I have a bachelor's degree from a small private liberal arts college that focused on international and multidisciplinary education. I am fully bilingual and spent 8 years after college living in a Spanish speaking country and teaching. I taught English as a Second language both at the pre-school and secondary education levels and I loved every moment of of it! I have 2 years of personal private tutoring experience with a middle school student. I also have experience working in a licensed daycare/preschool environment. I am CPR and Infant First Aid certified and also have training in literacy and pedagogy. I have a love for art, music and the outdoors and am passionate about education and early learning. I started in the field of teaching as a way to further explore my love of art and music. I began by teaching ESL to preschoolers through art and music. I later Read more started working with college students and greatly enjoyed the mutual learning that took place and the ability to positively influence their lives. I am a multicultural, fully bilingual (Spanish, English) motivated and caring person. I would love to work with your child and your family!
