I've been babysitting. nannying and hanging out with kiddos for 10 years. The deal was, that when I turned 14, I could start watching my younger cousins. I was so excited to be 14 and the joy I get from being around kids and positively impacting their lives has yet to fade. Throughout college, I worked as an after-school counselor for elementary aged kids. It was challenging, but I loved every minute of it. After I graduated from college, and although my journalism degree had nothing to do with childcare, I found myself working at a preschool as a teacher for the two-year-old room. The kiddos kept me on my toes, but it was this classroom that allowed me to see how truly impactful I could be on a child's life. I formed some incredible bonds with some awesome kids that I still miss to this day! I have 4 nieces and one nephew-- ranging from 7 months to 7 years. I recently moved to Fort Knox to be with my husband, but for the last 24 years, I've lived in Austin, Texas with my family. While in Austin, I helped care for my two nieces (aka best little friends) Emmy and Lucy for the last almost 2 years. Emmy will be 2 in September and Lucy just turned 7 months. I miss my family like crazy, especially all the kiddos and I hope that I'll be able to find a family here in Kentucky to connect with and make it feel a little more like home. :)

Nikki was a nanny for my 2 sons for about 8 months. She is dependable and absolutely wonderful with kids. They both loved her from day 1 and will likely never stop asking when they're going to get to play with Mrs. Nikki again! We miss you and hope you move back soon :)
