Currently I am on call at a day care until I find a nanny job or babysitting job. I worked at Children's Courtyard as an assistant pre-kindergarten and school age teacher. I have taught nursery through 5th grade there. I've worked there a little over a year. I love it!! I love children and would really enjoy taking care of and teaching children from my home or some place near the Coppell/Lewisville area. I'm very enthusiastic about teaching and caring for infants, preschool age, pre- kindergarden, and Kindergarten children, but I love kids of all ages! I started babysitting four boys at the age of 13 (the youngest being 6 weeks and the oldest 10). I was their regular babysitter for four years. We loved doing treasure hunts, baking cookies, playing games, and playing outside. I helped the kids with their homework after rocking and singing the youngest to sleep. Read more I have two younger sisters who I babysat all the time from the time they were babies until they were teenagers. We enjoyed dolls, dress-up, tea parties, books, puzzles, walking to the park, and so much more. I have worked preschool, daycare, after school program, and I have taught various age groups at church from nursery to fifth grade. I have done a lot of volunteer work- including mission trips and helped with many Vacation Bible Schools. I spent two summers in Colorado interning at a family Christian camp working with and teaching children. In 2011 for 2 months I volunteered at an orphanage in Cochabamba, Bolivia. During that time I basically did the job of a mother by changing diapers, feeding kids, giving bottles, walking kids to school, helping with homework, reading to children, out door activities, getting kids ready for bed, baths, birthday parties, and so much more. I am very passionate about teaching children and taking care of kids of all ages and with diverse needs. My hobbies are reading, writing, singing, scrap-booking, and doing things out doors. I have always loved taking care of kids. Children bring joy to my life! Right now I'm looking for a Mon-Fri full time or part time long term nanny job.
