I am the mother of two adult daughters. And I enjoyed every minute of raising them. I worked at a local hospital in the Parent Education Dept for 10 years, and for a pediatric pulmonologist for 2 years. I have been a nanny for 9 years, and have found it to be very rewarding, and a good fit. I enjoy teaching parents, empowering them, and watching them enjoy their new little one(s). The first weeks of parenthood can be stressful and overwhelming, my role is to be source of calm and information. I have experience with twins, and consider them a fun challenge. Nurturing, encouraging infants to be good sleepers, feeding them well, and keeping them safe are very important. I am infant-child CPR certified, and trained in first aid. I consider myself well read, and try to stay aware of the latest trends.
