As a previous daycare worker and extended school day instructor, I know how much parents want their child to be safe and in good hands. Not only that, you want the person you are paying to be a positive influence on your child or children and have them excited to see their nanny/babysitter. I would often receive praise from parents, and have been offered to babysit their kids outside of my job. In college, one of my minors was Human Development and Family Studies which helped learn more about healthy families and child development. I also graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor's degree in Biology and can provide tutoring or science activities for children. I am only looking for a summer position before I start grad school in the Fall. I know how to cook and clean.
