I am 30 years old. I started babysitting when I was 15. I am currently an EMT looking for a career change. I have spent my life growing up volunteering in public schools with my mother who is a music therapist. I have experience with both children with special needs, and those without. I also spent a year working one on one in a classroom setting with a boy with behavioral problems and sensory processing disorder. I love being able to find the root problem to what might be causing a behavior and help correct it. I have 2 kids that I watched consistently for a little more than a year on the weekends. We went on adventures to the zoo, museums, parks, and many other places all over DFW. While I do not have any children of my own, I have had experience caring for children from a few Read more months old, through teenage years. I am very safety oriented because of my current career. I am not only CPR certified, I have taught it, and performed it many times. I have great first aid skills, and do well working under pressure should there be an emergency.
