Hi, my name is Alexis. I am a young professional looking for a full time nanny position, but open to the idea of a part time position. During my time in college, I worked at a local gym called Adrenaline SportPlex which has programs aimed for children. In high school, I worked at the little girls spa Sweet and Sassy. While working at Adrenaline, I ran summer camps, moms mornings out, parents night out, hosted birthday parties and coached cheerleading. Additionally, I was a nanny throughout college as well as after. Unfortunately, after getting my first professional job, the company had a huge layoff and I was part of it. Therefore, I have decided to go back to being a nanny. I prefer to care for about 3 children but I also have experience managing up to 25 kids. I have babysat for 8 years and stayed with 3 families long Read more term. I was a nanny for a 1mo until she was 22 months- duties included everything imaginable with an infant/toddler. I would bottle feed and warm breast milk, helped transition into gerber and solid foods, change diapers, bathe, tummy time, read, started potty training, and much more! I stopped working with the family because the mom decided to stay at home full time. I also worked for a family with an 11 yr old- duties included getting her ready for school, drop off, pick up, help with homework and drive to any extra curricular activities, light housekeeping such as dishes, laundry, grocery shopping and taking care of the dog as well as the house when they were out of town (often). I stopped working for the family because the oldest got her drivers lisence and was able to help with most duties. I also worked for a family in Dallas (about 50 miles from my my home) with a 7 and 13 yr old with similar duties as above. Stopped working with this family because they moved even further. I love taking kids to the park to keep them active and get them out of the house like taking them for walks or playing games outside. I also like taking them on day trips such as the zoo, an amusement or water park, the movies or lunch at a restaurant (for older kids). I also love doing arts and crafts and playing board games. I can also help with homework or reading, carpool, help with light tidying up around the house, meal prep, and more!
