Hello! I am a registered nurse RN,BSN (recent graduate) and paramedic (7 years) in the great state of Texas. I am looking for part time work as I start my nursing residency at a hospital in February. I am not allowed to work as a nurse until the start of the hospital position. I will still be able to work after that because I will only be working 3 days per week at the hospital. I was employed as a paramedic during most of my nursing schooling but had to leave eventually because of school. It has been difficult to find part time work as a paramedic because companies require full time and consider me over qualified. I am extremely caring, good with children, well educated, lots of fun (I think..haha), and love to cook! I don’t mind light housework, and can help with homework as well. Mom was an Read more elementary school teacher for 30 years and I helped with tutoring. I have also worked in home healthcare for the elderly. I am CPR certified and have an EPC (emergency pediatric care certification) as well. I have a reliable vehicle ( Her name is Jeepie.. lol. Not too original but funny..) I am compassionate, a very hard worker, and big proponent of education. I am also super energetic, happy, and kind.
