Hello, I started doing caregiver nanny jobs since I was 19. I have worked across various environments from Sunday school nurseries to privately at the comfort of a families home. Last summer, I had the opportunity to work full time for a family in Grapevine, TX. The various ages I have worked with also are a broad spectrum: from infants to high school aged children. I am currently studying to become a board certified music therapist and completing my music therapy internship at Birdville ISD. I also have experience working with children with special needs. Some of the encountered diagnoses while interning include the following: autism, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, fetal alcohol syndrome, cri-du-chat syndrome, hearing impairment and stroke. I am CPR certified through the BLS for Healthcare Providers (CPR & AED) Program from the American Heart Association. I am also a certified Texas Music Teacher as well as a Read more Texas Christian University alumna. I enjoy music, art, crafts, museums, musicals, swimming, outdoor activities, reading, and cooking. I look forward to potentially working for a family the summer of 2015!
