My work with children began in 2016 with Project Transformation, a non-profit and faith based organization whose main focus is transforming lives through enhancing reading skills and building relationships in the underserved areas of Dallas through Summer and After-school programs. I began as an Elementary member working with ages 5-10 during their Summer program. Following the Summer, I worked up to a Site Coordinator position as a liaison between my church site's staff, parents, volunteers, participants, and the program's staff for the After-school program (having a team of 3 members and 30 children). In the After-school program we focused on homework help, reading, social and emotional building activities, and Bible-based teachings. I spent my last Summer of 2017 as a Youth member working with the middle school age group assisting in reading, leadership development activities, Bible teachings, and social and emotional growth activities. I worked 6-7 hours with the program, Read more so I am comfortable with long work hours related to children. I no longer work with Project Transformation as I am pursuing a career as a Music Recording/Performing artist. I play guitar, sing, and write. I am not a full time musician yet. That is my main goal but in the mean time I am seeking a part time job in child care. My personal goal is to serve families and be a positive role model to any chid I work with. I love making an impact on children whether that is academically or as positive model. Certifications: CPR & First-Aid
