I'm a 38-year-old mother of six children -- four biological and two adopted -- ranging in ages from 14 to 18 months. I'm CPR certified, and I have a long history of caring for children besides my own, working from time to time as a babysitter for individual families, in church nurseries, at our (former) homeschool co-op, or at women's shelters. Additionally, as a foster/adoptive parent, I've been trained to patiently care for children coming out of challenging situations. I hold a Bachelor's Degree in English Literature and Sociology from Texas Woman's University.
