I am great with children because of my love for them. I am recently retired from the public sector, so my time is pretty much my own. I am energetic, patient, dependable, nurturing, organized and relish seeing happiness on the face of a child that has mastered something or just accomplished it for the first time. I do not smoke, drink and have never done drugs. I have recent experience with newborns, that also includes twins. My children of course are grown, but I have 7 grandchildren that I have been very active in their lives since their birth. I am not an idle person and can't sit around doing nothing or just watching TV when the little one is sleeping. I do not mind helping out with housework or some laundry and doing some meal prep. I am CPR and First Aid certified. I always get a flu shot Read more and have had the T-Dap and whooping cough vaccine. When my children were young, I had to travel a lot for my work. I was very blessed for many years that I had my mom to watch them. When she passed, I found out first hand what it was like to have to find someone to watch over them, but to find someone I trusted was very hard. I have been in your shoes.
