Hi, I'm Irene Morales! I'm a 60 year old mom of one. I raised my seventeen year old daughter mostly by myself with some help from my mom. I speak English and Spanish fluently because I lived in Florida for ten years when I was growing up. I am originally from Venezuela but have lived in Houston for almost 23 years. I love kids and always wish I could have had more. I'm highly sociable and I like to have fun, so going to new places and keeping children entertained is pretty easy for me. I have no actual nanny experience besides raising my daughter, but I'm more than willing to learn and I'm going to get my CPR certification. I'm a very supportive, uplifting and understanding woman. I don't have any experience with specific disorders but being exposed to my daughter's depression and anxiety gives me the ability to Read more extend my patience and understanding even further. I'm dependable, hard working, patient, super nice, and understanding. I have a 2014 Toyota Corolla with insurance, so transportation is no issue for me. I am 60, but I think I look pretty good for my age and nothing stops me. I can perform normal duties with no problem. I am willing to drive and pick up your kids from school or any place they need to go. I think it is a gift to be able to speak English and Spanish fluently. This allowed me to teach me daughter phonics at home as well as English and Spanish. Many kids nowadays mix up languages or don't speak either one correctly. I am comfortable with cats and dogs under 20 lbs only. I was always a stay at home mom, but my husband recently lost his job so I need to find one quickly. I might permanently stay in the childcare industry, or just work part time until I am able to pay for a Microsoft course which will allow me to get a job as a secretary ect.
