I am 19 years old and enrolled in Houston community college as a full time student that will be transferring to UH. I am majoring in biochemistry seeking a career in pediatrics. I enjoy babysitting and tutoring kids, children can be so creative and smart if we give them time and attention. I am the "big sister" in our home and have an 8 year old brother which I put to read everyday and help with homework every day afternoon. He's currently a 3rd grader which reads at 5th grade level. I have learned how to take care, feed, and tutor through him. I tutored a 7 year old girl that did not know how to write nor read in English or Spanish. I tutored her for 2 months Monday through Friday and now she's a 3rd grader that reads as a 4th grader and speaks English fluently. As in Read more for my certifications, I am CPR certified. I tutor "on my own" and with patience I help children and would love to help more
