My childcare experience goes back 20 years, ranging in age from newborn to pre-teen. For the past 13 years I have been raising my own honor roll student with excellent behavior! My husband and I have been together for 15 years and we also have an 18 month old daughter. My professional background is in administrative work and marketing. I was laid off in the spring of 2014 just before my daughter was born. When she was about 6 months old, I started networking in my community and with a local mommy group for babysitting opportunities. I have been fortunate enough to find a handful of wonderful babies and families in the Cypress area. I have worked with several families on an as-needed or part-time basis. Some of the parents work over-night shifts or have other unconventional hours. Most recently, I have been watching a 4 month old (now 1 Read more year old), on a scheduled and short-notice basis. I am a non-smoker and a non-drinker, honestly! I have a clean background and do not take any medications or have issues with drug tests. My driving record is also clean. I enjoy animals, both dogs and cats, but do not care for reptiles. My ideal position would be full or part-time, and include one to two other children under five years old. I love the toddler and preschool age...they are so full of wonder and excitement. It's the best! I would like to bring my daughter with me. I understand that is a lot to ask, but children learn through playing with one another and it is great socialization.
