My name is Meagan rivera. I've been babysitting on and off for over 10 years from one child to 6. From September 2012 to July 2013 I was a full time nanny 6 days a week for a single monther. I became a member of the family. I ran errands including but not limited to picking up the child from day care, taking her to hair cuts, attending school functions, and picking up animals from vet appointments. From September 2012 to July 2015 I was a full time nanny for a single parent with one child whom was also in the process of getting her masters. I played the part of the other parent. I became a part of this family. I baby sat 6 days/nights a week. I had all duties a typical parent would. I picked this child (Allita) up from daycare every day. We did arts and crafts together after school. I had prepared and fed her dinner. I gave her baths. I read to her at bed time and put her to sleep. There were weeks that Allita saw me more than her mother. They needed me just as much as I needed them. This special relationship that I will never forget gave me purpose and direction during an uncertain time in my life. An accident with my employers mother caused them to have to relocate to Arizona.
