After interviewing Erin for a nanny position, I was very impressed with her. We offered her a position as part time nanny. She accepted. When we ran her background check, it came back fine. Her motor vehicle check came backed flagged but she had already told us she had a speeding ticket in the past. I asked to see the report on three occasions to which I received no response from her. She had already babysat for us on four occasions. The kids liked her and I was happy with how things had gone. I had given her a schedule and start date for her regular hours as our nanny prior to the motor vehicle check situation. She never emailed or called to let us know that she would not be providing us a copy of her motor vehicle check and that she would no longer be interested the position. Reliability and communication is so important in choosing a nanny and I feel this is where Erin is lacking.
