I graduated from Sam Houston State University this past December with a degree in History and a minor in education. I recently moved back to Brazoria county and am looking for both a job in the area and a job doing something I love. I plan to apply for a teaching position for the 2015-2016 school year, but in the meantime would love to work with kids in the area. I always knew I wanted to be a teacher so I have LOTS of years of experience working with children of all ages. Right out of high school I spent three years as a counselor at a summer camp in Bellville, TX where we cared for children ages 8-15. During that time I became lifeguard certified and would go on to lifeguard at the recreation center in Angleton before leaving for college. For the past two plus years I have Read more been a nanny to a little girl in the Woodlands area. Some of my duties included, school pick up, assistance on homework/projects, pet care, bedtime duties, and basically anything to make her parent's lives a little easier. Also, thanks to my degree I have tons of experience in the classroom with students of all ages.
