I listen to the parents wants and needs. I love to sing nursery rhymes, play hide and go seek, and find simple ways to have fun. I stay on the schedule that parents use as their daily routine with the children. Parents can easily communicate with me through e-mail, text, or calling. I know the do's and don't of children! I feed them well, make them laugh. School is important. I can help with homework, and love to be read to or read to children. I've been around children since I was a child. Most importantly, I am a first grade teacher. I have been teaching 5-7 year olds for five years now. I believe in the importance in getting children into literacy at an early age, even if it is learning the concepts of print with toddlers or spelling patterns with my first graders. Babysitting a few children is easy compared to teaching 20 students.
