I've enjoyed playing an active roll in educating children through play for quite some time. I was a personal cook and nanny for 4 terrific years. I've worked in professional daycare settings for 3, nonconsecutive, years. During my time in daycares I obtained and applied early childhood education and development trainings. Planning curriculum for 1-2 year olds, potty training, party planning, teaching minimal sign language, French and Spanish are among some of previous duties. While I have experience with older children, toddlers and infants are my absolute favorite age groups. Some of my favorite activities to do with kids include: art/crafts, listening to music, play dress-up, read books, cook, water activities, just hanging out, and many more.
