My name is Helen Allred and I love kids! I have a bachelor's degree in child development and over ten years experience in teaching and caring for children; infants to teens. Some of the things I like to do when caring for kids are; arts / crafts, dress up / pretend play, cooking, building ( Legos or constructing " houses " with boxes ), sports and outdoor activities and gaming ( if that is permitted ). If I am not familiar with a specific game, I am open to learning it. :) I also like to have a teaching component; caring for animals, cleaning up after play / reinforcing chores, learning how to be polite ( or reinforcing ), learning to be silly ( some kids have this down pretty good already ) and creating their own happiness through a positive attitude.
